Sugar Cookie Overload

Hi everyone.  In addition to sewing my little zippy's, here is what I've been up to the last few days...baking for a cookie exchange.  At the end of all the baking madness, there was TWENTY FOUR dozen cookies...I don't think I ever want to bake these cookies again!  LOL!!  Just kidding...but it was worth it because now my freezer is stocked with all sorts of different cookies from the exchange.

Ziplining Adventure - not much to do about sewing this time!

Well, I have been neglecting my blog...but am finally able to sit down for a bit and write about my family's latest adventure! 

A couple weeks ago, my son had a hockey tournament out of town.  We left a day early to hopefully get some skiing in, but the hill delayed its opening by 3 days.  So we thought...we are out of luck!  Not much to do except tour the town....UNTIL....we found out about a little zipline tour about 45 minutes away.  It was so much fun!!  It was perfect for beginners.  My husband went first, the kids went second, and I went last.  After the kids went down, I was crying like a baby I was so scared!  Taking that leap of faith off a building, trusting the harness and lines to keep you from crashing to the ground was hard.  But I DID IT!!  And you flew like superman, not sitting like most ziplines.  I definitely recommend it to anyone who's been thinking about it!
